Most video gets made for the wrong reasons.
We analyze your organization, your audience, and your competitive landscape before we pick up a camera. The research tells us which story to produce. Then we go film it.
Book a callSITREP: research before production
Every engagement starts with a Situation Report. We gather the data, find what it is telling us, then produce the story most likely to shift how your audience sees you.
-
01
Ingest
Internal data, audience intelligence, public sentiment, market signals, competitive positioning, geopolitical factors.
-
02
Synthesize
Analysis across the full data set. Blind spots, trust gaps, narrative opportunities.
-
03
Execute
Real environments, real people, observational production. Distribution built alongside.
The problem
Most video misses because of decisions made before anyone picks up a camera. These are the four failure modes we see most often.
-
× Failure mode
Made on gut instinct
No audience data, no competitive analysis, no validation.
-
× Failure mode
Made because a competitor did
Didn't study what problem theirs solved or whether your audience cares.
-
× Failure mode
Made because a vendor pitched it
Started with the solution before defining the problem. Looked good, moved no one.
-
× Failure mode
Made without a distribution plan
Sat on a server. Nobody planned who needed to see it or how.
The solution
Three separate campaigns for ITCA (Inter Tribal Council of Arizona), one process. Each required pre-production research that changed the creative direction. We knew what to make before we picked up a camera. That's the SITREP.
WIC Nutrition Services
1 // Situation
ITCA needed to increase WIC enrollment. Participation declining despite eligible families.
2 // Intelligence
Tribal members associated WIC with government surveillance. Barrier was trust, not awareness.
3 // Produced
Tribal mothers speaking direct to camera. No narration. No institutional framing.
Tribal Epidemiology Center
1 // Situation
Vaccine education for communities with justified skepticism of government health programs.
2 // Intelligence
Standard messaging was counterproductive. Needed own leaders, not outside authorities.
3 // Produced
Tribal health directors and community members in their own words. Shot on location.
Civic Engagement: Voter Education
1 // Situation
10-part docu-series to drive tribal voter participation ahead of 2026 election.
2 // Intelligence
Disengagement wasn't apathy — rational response to broken promises. Had to confront that history first.
3 // Produced
"Your Voice, Your Power." Ten episodes. Tribal leaders, elders, young voters. In production.
The result
SITREP formulated a plan, and we executed. See the process in action, and why we shot "oners" for this entire PSA campaign.
